ALSong is a great music player that offers much more than just playing your favorite tracks. With a smart layout, plus a wide array of functions, this application has a powerful audio engine that provides an excellent listening experience. As a music player, it offers all basic options found in most complete programs: equalizer, creation of playlists, mini player, web radio broadcasts, plus support for the most widely used music formats.
Among its numerous functions, one of the most interesting is that it can display the lyrics of a current song synchronized with the music, which is absolutely cool. The program has 1.000.000 lyrics in its database, but you can also easily process lyrics manually with the built-in Lyrics Editor.
Another original feature is the possibility of creating customized albums, which are basically compilations of your favorite music. To create an album, the program offers several layout options; it can include pictures, basic information, and of course you can listen to these songs directly from the program's window. On the other hand, a feature called Language Learner, allows you to change a song's tempo and pitch, and even play a song backwards. Besides, it includes an effective sound recorder that can record in two different formats all sounds that are playing on your PC, or voices from the microphone.
The program's interface is skinnable and comes with three different options, allowing you to set its color or transparency. With minimal system requirements, it works perfectly in all Windows OS, and the best of all, it is free. The version 1.9 also features some improvements, like faster loading speed, advanced sound effects, and support for Windows Vista, plus a number of bugs fixed. Simply excellent. |
